Since then, our dedicated team of experienced vets, veterinary nurses, receptionists, nursing assistants, and admin staff has continued to grow. We provide trusted, compassionate 24/7 emergency and routine veterinary care for pets and their owners.
As a local, independent vet, we’re able to offer a wide range of veterinary services including in-house referrals with specialist cardiologists, orthopedic surgeons, and soft tissue surgeons, as well as holistic and complementary treatments such as acupuncture, laser therapy, and raw feeding support. We also run puppy training classes and home visits, making it easy for pet owners in Cornwall to access the care and advice they need.

We are situated on the B3284 in the middle of Shortlanesend village. You'll find us between the pub and the Church, on the little roundabout.
We have parking for 8 cars and disability access.
Out-of-Hours
Our out-of-hours service is provided by the dedicated team at Edhen Vets Truro, located at our main site in Shortlanesend, Truro.
If your pet becomes seriously unwell, they may need to be hospitalised. In this situation, one of our experienced team members will provide continuous care for them throughout the night, day, or weekend at our Truro practice.
We understand how difficult it can be to have your pet away from home. To reassure you, we use WhatsApp to share photos and videos, so you can see how your pet is being cared for during their stay with us.
