We’re delighted to welcome clients to our newest Edhen Vets branch in Camborne, bringing independent, locally owned veterinary care back to the town. Based in the former Clifton Villa Vets building, our new practice continues the legacy of a site that cared for pets in the local community for more than 35 years under the trusted ownership of Andrew and Jane Parker alongside Paul Colam Ainsworth.

Following the building’s closure in March 2023, the owners were passionate about seeing it return to its roots as an independent veterinary practice, and entrusted us with the opportunity to bring it back to life for local pet owners once again.

As an independent Cornish veterinary practice, we believe in doing things differently. At Edhen Vets, your pet is cared for by a local team who genuinely get to know you, provide honest advice, and focus on transparent pricing and continuity of care. We are proud to offer personalised veterinary care without the pressures often associated with larger corporate groups.

With established practices already serving clients across Truro and Newquay, many families in Camborne and Redruth already trust Edhen Vets with their pets’ care. Our Camborne branch now makes accessing high quality veterinary care even easier for local pet owners.

Our Camborne veterinary practice is fully equipped with modern facilities, including digital x-ray, ultrasound, a fully equipped operating theatre, a dedicated dental suite with dental x-rays, and comprehensive in-house laboratory equipment, allowing us to provide a wide range of diagnostics, medical care and surgical procedures on site.

We also provide our own 24/7 emergency out-of-hours service through our dedicated team based at our Truro hospital, meaning your pet’s care remains within the Edhen Vets team, day and night.

We understand that veterinary costs can sometimes feel overwhelming, which is why we aim to keep our pricing clear, fair and transparent. We also offer our popular E365 health plans, designed to help spread the cost of preventative veterinary care throughout the year while providing excellent value for pet owners. Plans include benefits such as annual vaccinations, unlimited consultations, monthly flea and worm treatment delivered to your door, and exclusive discounts across many of our services.

Our Camborne branch is open Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 6:30pm, and from 8:30am to 12:30pm on the first Saturday of each month.
