Herpes Vaccination:

Although there are minimal cases of this reported in the UK currently, we are able to offer the vaccine which is given to the bitch in 2 injections: the first during heat or 7-10 days after the presumed date of mating and the second 1-2 weeks before the expected date of whelping. £74.00

Progesterone Testing:

On site progesterone testing with results in 1 hour. We typically will take the blood sample but we are able to accept blood taken by other veterinary clinics and brought to us.     £60.00

Add Vaginal Cytology – same day result £15.00

Vaginal Cytology: alone can determine when a bitch is ovulating, although more accuracy can be achieved when combining with progesterone testing. £50.00

Pregnancy scanning:

Typically performed 28-35 days after ovulation £60.00

Artificial Insemination:

Fresh semen collection from stud, basic evaluation for motility and fresh insemination £150.00

Chilled sample insemination (shipped from elsewhere to us) £90.00

Transcervical Insemination – TCI £250.00 -£300.00

Performed by a veterinary surgeon with a specialised endoscope.

• Frozen semen, thawed and inseminated

Complete reproductive assessment and written report:

Prostate and testicular ultrasound, semen evaluation (including pH, volume, motility, morphology and concentration).  £250.00

Semen Evaluation:

Semen bacterial culture:

Identification of bacteria present in sample and Antibiotic sensitivity report £65.00

Fresh semen collection for AI:

Semen Collection from stud dog and basic assessment on site prior to fresh insemination into bitch on site. £150.00

Semen Collection for chilling and Distribution in UK

Collection of semen sample, evaluating, extending and prepping for shipping, documentation. Shipped Next Day. £200.00

1. NB. We are able to collect and freeze samples or organise to send frozen samples to storage facilities. Please note: we do not currently store frozen samples on site.

Microchipping: per puppy £12.00

Microchip and clinical exam: Full clinical examination (specifically looking at development eyes, ears, nose, dentition, palate, heart check, ambulation, genitalia) £25.00

‘Breeder Pack’: Microchip, clinical exam and first vaccination (DHP/L2 OR L4- Covering Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus and Leptospirosis 2 or 4)£35.00

We can offer the full range of DNA test for each breed. There are a variety of ‘breed panels’ offered by some genetic companies, these can be useful and sometimes test for more things than are necessary. The Kennel Club have some tests that are required for certain breeds and we can help you to decide which tests you would like to complete for both stud and bitch in a breeding setting.

If Kennel Club registered we will encourage you to select breeding pairings as per their breeding coefficient along with the results of genetic tests and breed specific scoring such as hip and elbow scores.

We are available for breeding and whelping advice 24/7; whether it is your first litter or you are experienced and just want to chat.We are on hand to talk you through a whelping or early pup rearing and common conditions of the post whelped bitch.We are endeavour to give you as much advice as possible to keep you and the bitch at home, and advise you if we feel veterinary attention is needed.
